The Minos Flail Mower is a vital agricultural implement, powered via the tractor’s tail spindle and mounted using a three-point hitch system. Designed to operate vertically at ground level, it efficiently cuts plant stalks such as wheat, sunflower, cotton, rice (in husk), tobacco, thicket, as well as pruned branches from fruit trees and grapevines – returning this biomass to the soil as organic fertilizer.
Thanks to its side-mounted skids and rear roller, the mower maintains consistent cutting height, blade performance, and balance sensitivity – even on uneven terrain.
An alternative model, the T-DSPH (Hydraulic Mulcher with Vertical Blades), is also available. This version features hydraulic side-shift functionality, allowing easy maneuvering via the tractor’s hydraulic arms – ideal for use in orchards and vineyards. Height adjustment is controlled through the rear roller in this model as well.
Additionally, a bi-directional drive system enables both forward and reverse operation, providing significant advantages when shredding spiky bushes or branches. In reverse mode, the system helps prevent damage to trailer wheels and improves efficiency by lifting and processing branches that would otherwise be compacted into the soil during forward motion, making them difficult to collect.
